Andrea Ronchi has been working in carbon markets since 2008. Throughout his career, he has assisted large Italian and European industrial groups, trade associations within the Confindustria system, and financial operators in the strategic management of ETS quotas, CO2 credit trading, and the development of carbon management strategies.

In parallel with his work on the carbon market, he has held leadership roles in artificial intelligence and data science scale-ups focused on the sustainability of industrial processes, businesses that have subsequently attracted M&A deals from large groups or have been listed on the stock exchange.

In 2020, he founded CO2 Advisor with the aim of structuring this expertise into a dedicated company capable of supporting companies along the entire CO2 value chain: from ETS compliance to trading, from carbon footprint to decarbonization strategy, up to the development of projects for the generation of CO2 credits.
